What Do We Mean?
At the heart of our community is the call to be a church family—a people formed by the gospel, committed to Jesus, and united by the Holy Spirit. We believe that church is not just a place you go to, but a family you belong to.
In response to that call, we aim to embody the following:
A Bible-Believing, Spirit-Filled Community
We are a Bible-believing, Spirit-filled community committed to following Jesus together. Rooted in the truth of Scripture and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we seek to live out the gospel in every aspect of life.
A Journey Toward Reconciled Relationships
We are on a journey toward reconciled relationships, both with God and with one another. In a world often marked by division and isolation, we believe the gospel offers true peace and unity. This journey is inspired by Ephesians 2:11–22, where Paul describes how Jesus breaks down walls of hostility and brings us together as one new humanity.
A Culture of Honour, Acceptance, and Care
We are intentional about creating a culture of honour, acceptance, and care. We welcome people as they are and walk with them as they grow in their relationship with Jesus. We value every person as uniquely created in God’s image and believe that each one has a place and a purpose in the body of Christ.
A Shared Hope
Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church, or looking for a spiritual home, we invite you to join us. We are not perfect—but we are committed to growing together in love, truth, and grace, as God continues to shape us into a reconciled people and a true church family.
A Church Family
As a church family, we believe that God has not only called us to as a church family, but also to give from what He has entrusted to us. This is the foundation of our call to be a resource church—a community that strengthens others, not just sustains itself.
More Than Receivers — We Are Stewards
We don’t exist for ourselves alone. God has been generous to us—through His Spirit, His Word, and the life we share—and we are committed to sharing those gifts with others. Like Paul in Acts 16:9–10, who responded to the vision to “Come over to Macedonia and help us,” we too feel the Spirit’s invitation to support and strengthen the wider Church.
A Heart to Equip the Body of Christ
Our calling as a resource church is deeply tied to our desire to see the Body of Christ grow in spiritual maturity and in the knowledge of God. We long to see churches thrive, leaders flourish, and disciples deepen in their walk with Jesus.
We respond to this call by:
Resourcing: Developing and sharing tools, teachings, and insights that strengthen churches and leaders
Equipping: Offering training and discipleship that raises up mature believers
Encouraging: Walking alongside others with care, prayer, and practical support
Ministry Flows from Community
Everything we offer comes from the conviction God is forming in us as a local church. Our ministries aren’t manufactured—they are born out of authentic relationships, tested faith, and a shared journey with Jesus. In this way, our church becomes a well others can draw from.
A Church That Pours Out
Being a resource church is not a title—it’s a posture. We want to be a people who live with open hands, ready to offer what we’ve received, for the blessing of the Church and the glory of God.
A Resource Church
We believe God has placed us here with purpose—not just to gather, but to be a beacon of His grace into the world around us. Our calling is to be a centre of grace in the heart of the community: a place where people meet Jesus, experience healing, and are sent out.
A Grace-Filled Church
We long to be a church where grace is not just preached—but felt, seen, and lived. A place where no one is too far gone, too broken, or too lost to encounter the life-changing love of Jesus.
Here, people are welcomed with compassion, accepted as they are, and invited to grow into all God has for them.
A Place of Encounter and Restoration
Guided by the vision of Isaiah 61:1–4, we believe Jesus has anointed His church to:
Proclaim good news to the poor
Bind up the brokenhearted
Proclaim freedom for captives and release from darkness for prisoners
Comfort those who mourn
Exchange ashes for beauty, despair for praise
This is not just a prophetic promise—it’s our practical mission. We aim to be a spiritual home and a healing hub, where people find:
Hope in the gospel
Healing through community and the Spirit’s presence
Purpose in God’s call
Partnership in the work of restoration
A Mission Rooted in Place
Being a centre of grace means being present and visible in our community. We seek the peace and flourishing of our city—not from a distance, but by being among the people, loving with no strings attached, and serving with joy.
