Giving at
BEacon Church
We give because God first gave to us
Everything that Beacon Church is involved in is made possible through God’s provision and the generosity of His people. We truly believe that trusting God with our finances is one of the great acts of faith in following Jesus. Our approach to giving is not driven by obligation, but by an act of worship and gratitude to God and a desire to join in His work within our church, community, and beyond.

Why do we give?
WORSHIP
Giving is an act of worship. It is an expression of thankfulness and love for God. How we use our money can reveal our priorities and what’s going on in our hearts. Everything we have is from God, we get to cheerfully give back to him
Scripture
The Bible teaches that giving is an act of worship and a reflection of our trust in God. Scripture reminds us that “every good and perfect gift is from above” (James 1:17), and that we are called to give generously, cheerfully, and faithfully (2 Corinthians 9:6–7). From the Old Testament practice of tithing to the New Testament example of the early church sharing everything in common, we see that generosity is central to living out our faith. When we give, we acknowledge God as our provider and participate in His work in the world.
Where your giving goes
Your generosity supports the work and ministries of this Church as we seek to live out the values God has placed at the heart of this family.
A CHURCH FAMILY
Your generosity makes a real difference in the life of our church and community. Over the past year, we’ve seen relationships grow through Sunday gatherings, midweek prayer, and Bible study, as our church family comes together. Our youth have grown in both numbers and faith through regular youth work and Newday, made possible by your giving. Gifts also support:
Worship services, teaching, and spiritual growth programs
Children, youth, and family ministries
Care for those in need and church operations
A Centre of Grace
Your giving helps us care for people both within our church and throughout our community. In our church family, it enables us to provide weekly pastoral support, In our community, your generosity allows us to partner with the Beacon CAP to offer debt advice, job clubs, and life skills workshops, as well as to support the local Foodbank in meeting practical needs. Every gift helps us share God’s love in word and action.
A Resource Church
Your generosity also supports ministry beyond our own church family. Through the Reconciled Church, we explore the call for the wider Church to be reconciled to one another, especially around issues of race. We invest in the next generation by supporting events like Newday, a major Christian youth gathering, where our leaders serve in a variety of ministries. And we release our leaders to help other churches when they reach out for support. Every gift helps extend the reach of God’s love and strengthen His Church locally and beyond.
Transparency
We are committed to handling all gifts with integrity and care. Our financial stability relies on the generous contributions of our congregation and attendees, and we aim to be fully transparent about how those funds are used. If you would like to see a detailed report of our church and building finances, please look on companies house, all information is available there.
