The Beacon CAP Partnership is a group of churches based in Lambeth and Southwark, working in partnership with Christians Against Poverty (CAP). Together, they provide free Debt Counselling, Job Clubs, Life Skills, and Money Management courses.
Here’s some testimonies from what we do:
Since 2015, our debt centre has helped over 140 individuals become debt-free, with many more on the journey. Our coaches provide in-home support during times of real vulnerability — offering practical debt advice alongside emotional care. We need your support to continue this work in the community. Who are CAP?
Who are CAP?
Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a UK-based charity whose vision is to see transformed lives, thriving churches, and an end to poverty across the nation. Their mission is to release people from the grip of poverty, empower churches to make a difference in their local communities, and encourage people to live with renewed faith and hope.
CAP works to tackle both the symptoms and root causes of poverty by combining practical support—such as debt counselling and financial education—with advocacy and community-based initiatives that bring lasting change.
