Safeguarding
Safeguarding
The Leadership at Beacon recognises the need to provide a safe and caring environment for children, young people and adults at risk of harm. We acknowledge that children, young people and adults at risk of harm can be the victims of physical, sexual, emotional and spiritual abuse, and neglect. As a Leadership team we have therefore adopted the procedures set out in our safeguarding policy in accordance with statutory guidance. We are committed to building constructive links with statutory and voluntary agencies involved in safeguarding.
See below for links to our safeguarding policies and safeguarding “FAQ” handbook for important information on our approach to safeguarding.

How to raise a concern
We encourage anyone who has a concern about the safety or wellbeing of a child, young person, or vulnerable adult to speak up.
You should raise a concern if:
Something does not feel right
You have witnessed or been told about worrying behaviour
You are unsure but feel something needs to be shared
Concerns can be raised confidentially and will be taken seriously. They will be handled sensitively and in line with safeguarding policies and legal requirements. You do not need proof in order to report a concern.
